Whether you're a construction worker, hair stylist, or just enjoy being active in your free time, The Injury Mechanic can help! 

    We provide injury prevention and self-care education for small businesses local to metro-Detroit and person-focused care for active individuals. Our services equip you with a better understanding of injury risks at work and at home, strategies to care for your body, techniques to enhance your own healing process, and guidance to improve functional movement.

    The Injury Mechanic is led by a licensed, board-certified athletic trainer with almost 20 years of experience in injury prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, education, and ergonomics. 


    The Injury Mechanic earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine. She has obtained additional training including, but is not limited to: Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Dry Needling certification, Mobilizations with Movement, Certification in Applied Functional Science, Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, and more!  


    The inner workings of the human body are complex, but resilient. The Injury Mechanic strives to provide thorough care and/or education to address the specific needs of an individual client or a small business with the goal of enhancing one's ability to prevent injury, manage daily discomforts, improve function, and support the body's natural healing response. Unlike many other clinicians who want you to become dependent upon their care, The Injury Mechanic strives to empower you with the knowledge needed to improve your own well-being.
